ARE YOU THE PARENT OF A STUDENT IN LUBBOCK?

Here's what you need to know about working with Hobson or Espino on your child's case

There are few things more terrifying in the life of a parent than receiving a late night phone call saying that their son or daughter has been arrested and is in jail. There is a swirl of emotions from confusion, to anger, to disappointment, to fear, and an overwhelming sense of uncertainty about what to do next.

We understand that uncertainty, since one of the most common phrases we hear is, “I’ve never gone through anything like this before and I don’t know what to do.” We have several clients who are young adults attending Texas Tech, South Plains College, LCU, West Texas A&M, or who have recently moved away from home and whose parents are hundreds of miles away. That is why it is so important to us to make sure that the parents know their child’s legal matter is being handled properly and that they stay involved in the process.

We believe that the key to accomplishing this goal is through access and communication. To help us in achieving these goals we use the MyCase software that allows parents to keep track of where their son or daughter’s case is in the legal process. It also allows us to send messages directly to the client and the client’s parents so that everyone remains on the same page.

In short, through communication and transparency, it is our goal to turn confusion into hope – not only for our clients, but their parents and family as well.
